Material Girls

I've been spending my life doing cross-stitch these few days. Ok not really, it took me three days to complete this Kids 'r' Cool piece for the real beginners, like me. I bought it from the supermarket the other day, HA. My end product looks very different from the supposed thing 'cause I'm lazy to stitch the butterfly and the ugly flower. It's quite ugly too but at least I know how to cross-stitch now. Oh, I've been playing Maple Story too, I'm stuck at level 48 for almost a year.

Went back to school on Thursday to collect our report books. My GPA is the same as last year's end-of-year's, quite acceptable I guess. But my LEAPS sucks man, I have only five freakin' points. I'm sure there's something wrong with the recording, and it's so demoralizing. Hahaha whatever, I need to put in more effort for art competitions to get some achievement points if not I'll feel very useless.

So after reports about one third of the class went to Shaw for lunch, then we went separate ways 'cause some had stuff on and all that so no Grudge 2/ Material Girls/ Step Up, haha. Elyssa and I went to Tampines Mall and Century Square, sucked man, nothing to shop. I saw Shi En at TM though. Anyway, we were damn tired from all the foot work without rewards!! So we took a bus to Parkway and the atmosphere was so much more shoppy and Elyssa bought the bag we saw at Novo in March and it's really pretty :) I bought nothing!! We walked opposite to the pet shop to look at cute cuddly creatures for a while and went to have dessert at this really empty and poorly furnished shop. The Red Bean Paste with Ginko Nuts was damn awful pui I really needed a feedback form. And then Elyssa wanted to get some food for her family so we walked round and round the hawker centre and I accidentally hit this woman lookalike at a table. I apologised and she said 'Sorry', her voice was damn gay so I was telling Elyssa she must be a transvestite. Then we u-turned and Elyssa saw her Adam's apple. Ew? I feel so disgusted my skin came into contact with a transvestite's skin -.- Then Elyssa left and Mummy came to meet me at Parkway. We had dinner and went home, my legs were damn exhausted.

Then today I went to Penelope's house to visit her dog, it's so cute. And then we took a cab to Junction 8 'cause we wanted to watch the 11.20 Material Girls.

Waste my money man, $9.50 some more. It wouldn't be as bad if we watched it on a weekday at seven bucks or something. Or we should have strolled to the bus stop for cheap transport and watch Grudge 2 instead. Grudge 2 would have been fun and worth the money! I think it's quite stupid that Hilary and Haylie Duff had their house down burnt down when they could've just watered the small little harmless fire -.- Anyway Penelope and I were two out of about 10 people in the cinema.

After that we went to ThaiExpress for lunch!! First time, first time, and I can strike something off my to-do list :) They had funny names for the dishes, all so Thai-y (I don't remember what) so we were like, 'Give me one 6107 and one 6102.'. The food was quite good I like the pineapple rice without the pineapple bits. I have no idea why there were raisins in the rice!

We walked around after that and went to Bishan Library! Another first time. We just walked in and out, I think the little corners at the coloured windows are cool. Daddy came to fetch me home and then my grandmother, Aunt Lillian, and Uncle Peng Seng randomly dropped by at our place and they chatted with my parents then we had Roti Prata @ Jalan Kayu for dinner. After which my parents and I went to the chalet. Quite boring, but I saw many of my paternal relatives. The last time I remember seeing them was... long enough.

Ok, I'm determined to cut my hair tomorrow and I want to go fishing 'cause I bought prawns from the supermarket they're fat and juicy.
